Name of the Post: Assistant Engineer (Electrical)

Age Limit: Candidates age should be minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 01-01-2015. Age relaxation is applicable upto 3 years for OBC (A) & OBC (B) and 5 years for SC & ST candidates of West Bengal Only.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Full Time 4 years B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics (Combined)/ B.Sc (H) in Physics with 3 years B.Tech in Electrical Engineering/ Power Engineering/ Bachelor’s degree holders in Electrical/ Power/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Technology (3 years after Diploma in Engineering/ Technology) from any Institute approved by AICTE/ IIT’s.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on GATE Score.

Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit is 26 years as on 01-02-2016. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC & PwD candidates as per Government Guidelines.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Full-Time degree in Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical with minimum First Class or 60% Marks or equivalent.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on GATE 2016 score & Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 340/- (Including Bank charges of Rs. 40/-) deposited at any nearest branch of State Bank of India(SBI) by using Challan form. The candidate should fill up all the three parts (Banks copy, MDL Copy & Candidates copy) of the Challan. The Bank shall retain its copy (Bank’s copy) and return two parts (MDL’s copy and Candidate’s copy) of the Challan to the candidate. No fee for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates have to first apply for GATE-2016 and thereafter, appear in GATE-2016 & for Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited apply online through the website www.mazagondock.gov.in from 18-12-2015 to 01-02-2016. Candidates have to send hard copy of online application along with MDL’s Copy section of the Challan through post or courier to Chief Manager (HR-CR), Executives Recruitment Section, 02nd Floor, Mazdock House Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, Dockyard Road, Mumbai-400010 on or before 16-02-2016 by 1700 hrs.
